TULSA -Coming off a hard-fought draw last Saturday night at DKSC, Tulsa SC (0-0-1) is heading down the turnpike once again as they take on longtime competitors FC Dallas (2-0-0). The last time these two teams met was last season when Tulsa SC was crowned as the Red River Northern Division Champions with a 2-0 victory over FC Dallas on the road. This game will be no easy quest for Tulsa SC as FC Dallas currently stands at the top of the division with 6 points.
"We always expect FC Dallas to field a quality team. This will be a very difficult game on the road that will test us. We will need to stay focused and will need some of our players to come up big for us [tonight] to get a result.” -Coach Aaron Crouch
Despite their first match draw versus DKSC, Tulsa SC is still moving on strong hoping to clinch their first 3 points of the 2022 Women’s Premier Soccer League (WPSL) season. Tulsa SC will rely on a strong collection of returning players, notably Bri Amos, who played a significant role in last week's draw with DKSC. With a goal in the 64th minute, Amos tied the game and was also the leading shooter for the Tulsa SC squad. Along with a collection of notable division 1 players Tulsa SC will also look to use its depth of youth club standouts with the likes of Makenzie Malham and Andra Mohler who was awarded the Player of the Match vs. DKSC.
Tulsa SC currently stands in second of the Red River Northern Division Standings tied with DKSC. FC Dallas sits atop with 6 points: OKC FC and South Star FC sit at the bottom with 0 points.
