Tulsa SC Prepares To Take On SouthStar FC This Saturday

TULSA - Tulsa SC (0-2-1) comes off a hard-fought match versus DKSC last weekend, and looks to turn the table as they enter the midpoint of the 2022 Women’s Premier Soccer League (WPSL) season. Tulsa SC will take on SouthStar FC this Saturday, June 11 at home. During last year’s campaign it was Tulsa SC who was able to come home from both matches with a win against the SouthStar FC squad. Since joining the WPSL league in 2019 SouthStars FC has been unable to secure a win against Tulsa SC.

“Starting out with 2 difficult away games in Dallas has definitely been tough on the team. We’ve had a good week of training, the team is adjusting well, and they know the gameplan for Saturday. During the last two matchups against Southstar FC, it was the 2019 Tulsa SC leading goal scorer and current forward Mia Darden, who was the lone scorer to give Tulsa SC both wins. This season Tulsa SC has been led by Bri Amos with two goals on the season. Tulsa SC has also been led by a strong defensive front, giving up only four goals in three matches, with keepers Peyton Pearson, and Tatum Sanders leading the way.

The first 100 youth players to this Saturdays match will receive a giveaway gift that they can use for autographs with the WPSL players after the match.
