OKC FC then put some heat on the Tulsa SC defense in the 8th minute with back to back chances on goal, but Tulsa SC would be able to clear away the attacks. Tulsa SC would see three more chances with shots on goal by Kayla Fernandez, Grace Pettet, and Morgan Schaefer before Tulsa SC would earn their first goal of the night on an own goal by Oklahoma City FC. Eight minutes later, it would be Tulsa SC again as Megan Haines slotted the ball into the goal for a 2-0 lead in the 36th minute. OKC would see an opportunity to put a point on the board in the 58th minute, but defender Mollie Breiner would be able to get the ball away from the Tulsa SC defensive line. Tulsa SC and OKC FC had continuous looks and opportunities at goal for the next 24 minutes of game play. In the 82nd minute, Tulsa SC would get a golden look at goal when forward Jordan Frederick drew a PK for Tulsa SC, it was Liliana Fernandez who took the shot and placed it in the top left corner of the goal but was saved by the OKC FC goalkeeper. As the game drew to a close, Tulsa SC continued to push on the OKC FC defense and would be awarded two late goals by way of Zoe McCabe in the 89th minute, and one in extra time in the 91st minute. Tulsa SC will head home down the turnpike with 3 points and will get rested before a quick turn around for another matchup versus SouthStar FC in Dallas on Saturday, June 25th.

"It’s always nice to win a rivalry game. I told the ladies at halftime to take pride in the shutout, and they showed strength in their team, defensive efforts. It was great to see Zoe McCabe break through with her first goal of the season. Makes me excited for more to come as we close out our season with the final 2 games."said Coach Aaron Crouch.
